What is the electric motorization project in the forest?

This project aims to promote the adoption of electric vehicles and machines, hybrid or hydrogen engines, for forestry operations and transportation, supporting forestry companies in reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to the objectives of the Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality 2050 (RNC2050).

What are the main objectives of the project?

Benchmarking of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered equipment and vehicles suitable for forestry operations.
Investigation of electric charging possibilities in forest environments and forest-based industries.
Promotion of productive investment in electric equipment.
Conducting productivity and investment analyses, comparing electric equipment with fossil fuel-powered alternatives.
