CENTRODEC

Decision Support Center with Muti-sensory Data for forest protection

Summary

This project aims at monitoring electrical infrastructures and forestry assets, making use of the existing very-high-voltage electricity grid. Supported by previous projects, valuable “online” information for fire prevention and detection can be delivered by such monitoring systems, which complement existing systems in public entities, and can work in redundancy, in case of failure in an emergency. The project will extend these results by developing a novel center that will add the necessary data intelligence layer over sensor data.
