This project aims at developing and testing an innovative industrial-scale process to produce high quality recycled wood chips. These wood chips will be produced from used Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and other non-hazardous wood waste, by sorting waste and isolating contaminants that cannot be introduced into particleboard manufacturing process. This will guarantee the adequate homogeneity and quality of the fiber compatible with the requirements for its use in most applications of MDF.
