The project aims to develop fiberboard 3DF, as an alternative to the standard 100% Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), which characteristics are more suitable to the construction of sliding doors of large dimensions and deep relief, in order to obtain a more sustainable and lighter product. It is also intended to develop a new production process to mold panels in three-dimensional (3D) format for furniture production, allowing to reduce the waste rate while ensuring the same level of quality of the final product.
