Forest 4.0

Digitalization from forests-to-mills

Summary

This project aims to develop and test new integrated solutions for the digitalization of forestry operations and transport to the factory. These solutions will use equipment to be developed that must be capable of reading the sensors attached to the machines as well as external sensors that want to be incorporated. This equipment will allow the collection of all data that is important to characterize and improve the efficiency of forestry processes. This equipment will include new software components that share data in a multi-agent environment, allowing for improved monitoring, planning and decision-making.
