Mechanization and automation of forest operations

Summary

This project will develop novel forest machinery and related implements more suited to national forest conditions (slopes, type of forest stands, smallholding regime), which is instrumental for increasing the level of mechanization of forest operations. This initiative will keep up with the European tendency of mechanization and automation for attaining efficiency and sustainability of forestry operations and to face the shortage of skilled labor in the sector.
