On January 21, the “Permanent Plots Network” project consortium met at RAIZ’s facilities to continue the planned work, focusing in particular on issues related to the installation of the intensive monitoring plots and data governance.
Part of the meeting was dedicated to a guided tour of Quinta de São Francisco, an arboretum of centuries-old eucalyptus trees. With more than 350 species, including 80 different types of eucalyptus. Quinta de São Francisco proved to be an enriching place to understand the biological diversity present in the region.
The progress made during this meeting demonstrates the consortium’s commitment to driving forward the Permanent Plots Network project. The next step will be the effective implementation of the intensive monitoring plots, marking a crucial phase in the development of the transForm Agenda.
